Last night with a 5 year old Mr. Apples

The child is so excited for his birthday. It was reported by his teacher that he called for everyone to listen to an announcement: Tomorrow is my birthday. It's half Halloween, half Easter.

Shockingly, the local grocer does not offer cake to reflect that theme. We did our DIY best.

I'm sorta proud of the decorations if I do say so mah-self!

Thank goodness for Amazon and being able to buy skull banners in April. All the other ghoulish foolishness was readily at hand in Jacob's room.
