The Crest to the Coast

Chris and I had two great adventures in the last week. We spent Saturday in Julian and travel and loop down the other side of the mountain past some Kumeyaay land and West towards the sea. It was a clear day and we could see the Salton Sea to the East and the Point Loma cliff to the West. Then we did a weekday hike around Torrey Pines which had been closed for six months. It opened just in time to see all of the poppies. It was amazing. Between the two trips we saw a bunch of critters and so many flowers. California is alive with beauty.
