October: from beach sunsets to spooky

Earlier sunsets have been beautiful, whether from our backyard or the beach. We visited Julian for some autumnal fun on Chris's birthday. We are trying to make Wednesday night S'mores night! Evening walks are more fun now that we can see how the neighbors are transforming their spaces into Halloween Town. We had a yard sale where Liam sold 2 bins of dinosaurs so he could buy a single Godzilla figurine. I was really proud of him. I only wish I'd done as well with my own castoffs. Our inside and outside of the house are looking very spooky and fun! Another fall adventure was to a pumpkin themed carnival. We have one more week to go until Halloween and I hope we will visit the zoo or Balboa Park ronsee the decorations and themed exhibits.
