A rainy hike, an almost hike and art in the cove
Chris and I tromped through the dripping fog to enjoy Torrey Pines. Had we climbed the cliffs we would not have seen the waves. It was a negative tide so we walked to Table Rock and saw many sea anemones and cool caves.
We tried to hike the haunted Elfin Forrest in Encinitas but we mysteriously got a flat tire just as we entered the parking lot!
Chris managed to get a tow truck and an Uber for me and the kids. The boys and I hiked a short path along the creek and saw some rapids. I think the woods were playing tricks! We'll have to to back.
And today, the Littles and I went to the MOCA in La Jolla and saw some crazy art that made us wonder, " Are four canvases painted different tones of black Art?". "What about this giant sculptural butt?"
We also saw some great pieces that made us ask questions and one that even made Jacob very annoyed! I think it was a great visit.
