I did it! I survived Operation: Christmas

I'm always training for, prepping, scouting, and then actively deploying Operation: Christmas. 

We galloped through 24 + days of emotional chaos to Christmas Eve. 

By the skin of my teeth I executed the family portrait. 

A new Christmas Eve tradition was implemented. Secret Santas exchanged gifts to much hilarity.

Even the teenager reluctantly smiled.

A quasi successful excursion to burn off the sugar at the beach.

We're in recon now, picking through the detritus for salvage gift wrap and charger cables.

A late gift, we got our photos with Santa!

A December monsoon is blowing in and we're snug in our bunker with 100's of new possessions. 

Update: the un-Christmasing has halfheartedly begun: returns and buyers regret. Dismantle Christmas is has been delayed through Epiphany.
