5 sleeps til..dah dah dah duhhhhh...Christmas!

 We are slipping and scrabble our way through the last week until Santa comes. In an effort to avoid wrapping a zillion gifts we visited Balboa Park yesterday.

We made a gingerbread house,

had an impromptu dance party by the tree 

and then took tour of the neighborhood lights. Somehow, I'm still failing at parenting. Jacob was actually pretty furious that we didn't win the contest. This was the winner (according to the HOA) Dylan awarded it 100 stars!

I'm going to watch reality TV and shut the door on this mess.
