This not-a-baby has his first loose tooth!

 NO!

If he still has all of his baby teeth then he's still technically part baby.

But, today, Dylan whispered, "I have a secret... I have a wiggly tooth!"

He then proceeded to give me the heebie-jeebies by wiggling a very wiggly front tooth.

He asked, "Is tomorrow a school day?"

(It is not. It is too hot so we're playing hooky. I told him this.)

"Good. When you have a wiggly tooth you have to play hook because if you go to school you could lose your tooth. But if you're playing hook then you won't lose it."

Fair point.

Also DJ! You're taking after you're father! How did you keep this secret for days? I tell everyone everything as soon as possible. I'm in trouble. This kid can lie! I suppose I am the one who taught him about playing hooky so this could also reflect poorly on me.

Hiding his wiggly grin

Sweetness still prevails for the time being. We immediately used my phone to shop for the identical tooth fairy pillow that Jacob has. In doing so, we discovered a plush cat shaped like a sprinkle donut. Then we found a miniature version of that same toy at which point Dylan gleefully announced, "I need that donut cat! Don't worry, I have allowance money!"

Ma bebe!
