Torrey Pines Hike

 I brought the Littles on a hike today. There was a beach hazzard alert that popped up on my phone warning me to stay off the beach due to large waves and rip currents. Naturally, I wanted to check it out!

But up high we must go because Jacob is afraid of big waves and Dylan will only do what Jacob does.

Dylan requested that I photograph him with this tree. Or rather, he photo bombed my attempts at photographing this Torrey Pine. I said, what are you doing with your hands?

I'm a flower, he said. 

We had been admiring the wild flowers that are just waking up. I think he was kissing my ass for telling me earlier,

If anyone asked, I would say I'm not impressed.

This is the view that didn't impress him.

I swear. 

But we made it to the end of the Yucca Point trail which was a couple of miles round trip. That's pretty good for us! We only had several injuries!
