They do make me laugh!

I was a very brave mummy and caught a praying mantis! Life of a boy mom. The boys played with it for an hour. There aren't that many things they need me to do for them, but be their photographic journalist is one. I enjoyed being in on the fun instead of just correcting all the potty talk.

Then we finally made it back to the beach after 3 weeks. I had dragged them so often in July that Jacob had actually told me, "The beach is getting old, Mom." The horror that is an 8 year old teen!

Well, today he was VERY happy to be back in the water. Still nervous, he will do anything to impress Liam including floundering out into the bigger waves. . . as long as mom is right there to rescue him.

Mom!Mom!Mom!

He was waving me deeper.

Stay right there!

Pointing 10 ft behind where he and Liam were playing. Ok!

Mom! Moooooooom!

Dylan wants me back on shore to look at a bed of 1 million mussels burroughed into the sand. He did get brave towards the end and did some wave jumping. Now we have to go back tomorrow.

Mom? The next time we come to this beach I want to go in the big waves again!

Liam was flashing me "heart hands" and carried all of beach gear back to the car so I didn't hurt myself.

They're getting way too big, but they are also still so sweet.
