King Tides!

 A massive perk of homeschooling is saying "screw music class" and heading to the beach on a school morning. Twice last week, we piled in the van to watch the extra high tides pound the shores. And the extremely low tides were equally fun for treasure hunting and flying our kite. We found lots of strange shells and beach glass.

Usually, we can walk across the estuary at low tide. These waves were lapping the underside of the bridge!
