Palm Springs
What a gorgeous place! Everyone is loving our vacation. The pool is "most favorite" followed by the pool, candy, candy, toy stores and the pool.

Our little Booger Monster: someone always has to be sick on vacation and this time it is Dylan.
One of my favorite childhood dreams realized, visiting the World's Largest Dinosaurs, and a scene from Pee Wee's Big Adventure!
Joshua Tree Park... We didn't get to see any Joshua trees, as that would have been a wicked long drive. But we did tromp around near the visitor center and ruin any chance of fellow hikers enjoying a peaceful walk.
We did a family puzzle and baked up some cookies and played lots of games on our devices.
And, while we didn't fly, I always remember Irma Bombeck's advice that it's time to head home when you start to look like your passport photo. I think that while everyone had a blast, we will be happy to be home and back to our routines.

We had some wet weather roll down the mountains on turkey day (which included no actual turkey at our house).
We did a family puzzle and baked up some cookies and played lots of games on our devices.
But then, we needed to get out of the house on Friday for a last adventure in our new favorite place. We headed east again to Palm Desert and saw what all of the rain did at higher elevations.
