Road trip to the petting zoo!
We went to San Juan Capistrano on Sunday! This was the farthest we've explored as a family and it was a bit hairy getting there with all the Sunday traffic but everyone was really patient. The little town was reminiscent of Rockport, with this Olde Town artist colony vibe and windy streets with historic homes and shops.
The petting zoo was small but it was a huge hit for all of the boys. Everyone loved the guinea pigs, of which there was more than 50, I'm not exaggerating.
Jacob's favorite part was this Olde West play area with a Jail and hobby horses. Liam went panning for minerals. And the two Littles played in a dried corn sensory pit and rode a little train. Top it off with ice cream and it was a favorite activity that everyone is eager to repeat!
