Halloween isn't over till the Switch Witch comes!

The boys were giddy last night, scampering around jack-o-lanterns and chatting up home owners.

Dylan joined us for the first 20 minutes and then agreed to go to home and eat "buttons" (m&ms). He was right in the mix, knocking on doors and saying TRICK OR TREAT! I was shocked!

Jacob was in HEAVEN! Halloween is his night. An ambitious neighbor made a mask of the mayor of Halloween Town, from The Nightmare Before Christmas movie. Jacob crawled up into the guys lap like he was Santa! He was enchanted! The family was so tickled that Jacob was enjoying their decorations.

There were a few houses that were truly scary and we had some issues with getting tired feet, but the sugar rush was worth the hardship.

Liam was so helpful with his brothers and the two young neighbors we went out with. He rushed to give some candy to kids who came to our dark house (thanks for opening the door to strangers, Mr. APPLES) because our bucket was empty. He is a generous boy.

My shoulders are killing me from the carving 3 pumpkins, thank you very much, but I busted out my orange bins and packed up my Halloween today. I'm over it and the kids have been pigging out on candy non stop until this evening. The night of the Switch Witch. Liam's suspicious, but he was also the most excited to gather the candy for the witch. She's going to bring them some sweet toys in trade for their leftovers.
