Big brother to the rescue

We were watching the trash truck pick up the bins and dump them into the hopper (that's right, I know my trucks) and the noise was intense!
Trying to delight the boys, the driver blasted his horn. DJ clamped his ears with chubby hands and climbed halfway up my leg.
Liam YELLED, (wait, what's louder than all caps?)

!! OUR BABY HAS SENSITIVE HEARING!!

right into his brothers ears.

Well intended..... Not well thought through.
