TIMMM-BERRRRRRR!

This is why I got into the Mommy business: for the fun!
Jake Apples and I got a cool surprise when leaving camp today.  We watched a tree get cut down with a chainsaw! AwwwwwwYeaaaaah!

I think that I may have been more excited about this display of lumberjackery than my child.  Of course,  I knew what to expect, and that expectation whizzed me back to my own childhood. I live to share a visceral experience like that with my kids. The full-body wracket of a chainsaw blocked out any other thoughts in my adult brain as I yelled to the backseat,  "Watch the tree! Here it goes!"  Little man smiled and was impressed but I am feeling very lucky today!
