I blog because I'm trapped beneath a sleeping baby

If I put him down, he will wake up and cry. I know this from 3 hours of trying. So, I will surrender to human pillow status and post pictures of my children.

Getting much needed haircuts and grocery shopping have become the new "going to the children's museum". Now that I am a mom of three boys, and because it's winter, I'm terrified to leave the house with the baby. I can barely handle the big boys solo and adding diaper changes and feedings would push everyone over the edge.

My solution has been to feed Pickle and leave him with Daddy, giving me two hours to take Bigger and Biggest out.  It's amazing how adding a 3rd baby makes me feel like a rock star when I only have 2 to manage!  We are turning errands into adventures by adding balloons and ice cream.

In strictly baby related news, Pickle smiled a real smile last Friday! Just 6 weeks old and breaking hearts with his gummy grin.  6 weeks old is also the time frame when he shifted from sleepy newborn to easily irritated newborn bent on World domination by screaming.

Hence, the me as a human pillow thing.
