Special time with my littlest imp.

Cubby so often gets dragged to errands while his brother is in school. This morning, though, we bundled up against the chilly Fall sun and headed to the playground. There were many pumpkins and ghosts to spot along our drive,  and 12 scarecrows decorated the fence at the park.

We had the whole place to ourselves and Cubby delighted in a sand pit filled with dump trucks that he didn't have to share.  His bright orange jacket was brilliant against the blue,  blue sky as he swung high in the bucket swing and bounced on the seesaw.

He fell asleep on the ride home, tuckered out.  I will miss my adventures with my "baby". I'm sure he'll be a wonderfully a happy middle brother,  with someone to worship and someone to boss around.
