Sticks of Lightening
There was a big rain storm last night at Myrtle Beach and we were lucky enough to watch the show from our balcony. The bolts were lighting up the clouds and streaking down into the ocean. Bub was so excited!! He couldn't speak fast enough to get out all the words and thoughts he had about the "lightening sticks" as he called them.
He performed a drum solo on the deck furniture to "help the lightening" and he demonstrated how the "sticks" were jumping down out of the sky. Imagine a small boy jabbing at the air with finger lightening, and making explosion noises, spit flying, vibrating with excitement. Pah-kew! Pah-kew! Pah-KEW!
As the night got cooler, he kept running inside to request more blankets to wrap himself in until he was a little burrito and we were out of blankets.
Here's Bub on the balcony,
checking out our beach,
getting in some swimming with Daddy.
