Insight into Bub's Personality

I've read that a parenting trick is to always give your toddler options to provide the element of control they so desire.  If you want to steer your toddler towards one choice, you should list it first.  Well, that doesn't work with my kid.  Two examples from this morning:

Do you want to watch Diego or Timmy Time?

"Kai Lan!"

Do you want vanilla or strawberry milk?

"Chocolate!"

Clearly, I need a new parenting resource because we're off the reservation over here!

His outspokenness is a least tempered with good grammar.  Last night he crunched through the variations of "me" and "I" and settled on "Mama and I are having dinner."  At least he's a well-spoken precocious child.
