You know your child had an amazing day when

you look into the back seat of the car and you see that he's passed out,  wearing only a t-shirt and diaper,  clutching a coconut donut**,  crumbs and sand liberally coating his chubby legs,  and he's snoring.

We had a wonderful trip to the beach today.  We drove down to Narragansett and it actually took a normal amount of time to get there instead of the 2.5 times as long as a journey often takes.  AND we scored and found a Mary Lou's Coffee! 

Bub and Daddy break ground on a building for the Spinosaurus to stomp.  (Of course he came to the beach with us.)

Here's Daddy getting soaked in a flash flood.  Construction is not for the faint of heart or those with smart phones in their cargo pockets.
