A two kitty night
Liam was, er, "difficult" to put to bed tonight. After all the plea-bargaining, threats, tears and three rounds of "last book" and "last song" I shut the door for the second time on a wailing Bub. It is pretty comical that we often holler "I LOVE YOU!" over his crying and run down stairs but it's either that or he'd still be awake at midnight with the remote and chocolate milk on tap.
Well, I foolishly checked in on him a mere hour later and the little monkey was still awake and busted me trying to sneak out. Is that wrong to try to evade your child? He got two more books and then thankfully went quietly to bed again.
Now, 90 minutes later I want to go to bed myself so I creeeeep up to the door and pray to see a sleeping baby boy. I found his face covered by Juju Be Kitty and when I removed that toy, there was Marcello Kitty, too! Poor little man. I'm so glad he has his pack of kitties too soothe him.
