Little cars and trains every where and nose prints on every window

Bub,

I never thought that I would love being a Mom to a little boy as much as I do. You stop my heart with your fearlessness and melt it when you hold my pinky as we walk together. I curse the wooden trains that I'm constantly stepping over but I love that you are impressed by me enough to copy my 'choo choo' noises.

I have always been scared of bugs and I still hate to have sticky hands, but I will happily have crackers and a bulldozer in my purse alongside my lipstick and I will always snuggle you even when you are covered in yogurt.

And you are smart as a whip! You find your play phone and 'tikka tikka' into it while you open the cabinets in your little kitchen. We speak the same language now. You can say so many words! You tell me 'car', 'tree' and of course 'kitty'! I know that 'uh uh' means doggie and that if you're clapping, I'd better get you some MORE right away!

So much has changed since you came along, Monkey! For the better.
