At one year, Liam weighs 23 pounds 12 ounces and he is 30.5 inches tall.

On this second Mother's Day since Liam was born, I am astounded by the difference in the two experiences. Last May, I was bringing a newborn home from the hospital, both exhausted and buzzing with excitement and nervous energy. This year, I am reaching out to catch my toddler as he walks into my arms. It has been the most amazing year of my life. There are no other words.
