9 Month check up and an ear infection

We went to a new pediatrician today and we liked her very much. She said that Liam is growing and developing wonderfully. He is 21 pounds 6 ounces, 30" tall and he has his first ear infection. Boo! Because of this discovery, Mama gave him a pass and he didn't get his shots today. Hopefully, the ear will respond to the antibiotics without any nasty side effects.

Liam has been in pretty good spirits considering the ear pain he must be experiencing. He is such a good sport about going out to do errands (or "adventures", as we call them) as long as he gets a little while each day to crawl around his awesome play room when we get home. He is loving the new toys Mama got for him FOR FREE (thank you Freecycle!). Of course, they light up and sing but he is easier to keep track of that way. A quiet baby is surely getting into mischief somewhere, right?
