Our puppy Liam

Liam is like a little doggie in that now absolutely everything has to go right into his mouth for a good chew. This includes Mom! In fact, and I am in no way bragging here, I think that I am his favorite thing to slurp on. My fingers, my shoulder...we're both a drooled on mess by the end of the afternoon.

He will be 4 months old next Monday and he continues to grow like a chubby weed. I think he's approaching 16 pounds and he's ready for the next size diapers already! Size 3. Amazing. It was just a few weeks ago that I was scouring Block Island for Size 2.

We tried a little rice cereal last night - very diluted - and the spoon was not a big hit. He did slurp it all down in a bottle though and slept longer than he has been. Coincidence?? I'm not going to risk it. I'll be serving rice-y milk again soon.

I read recently in a Mommy book that 4 o'clock is the new 5 o'clock. Amen to that! We're only having mac n' cheese for dinner but I'll be checking the cupboards to see which wine goes with that.
