Two month check up and vaccines - yikes!!! - updated

After a long evening of fussiness we were all ecstatic that the Wronas all got 6 consecutive of sleep. Woo hoo! I have a feeeling we might need it to get through today.

Liam and I just got back from a very long and sad doctor's appointment. He had his two month check up which he passed with flying colors:

weight - 11 pounds 10 ounces - 50th percentile
height - 23 3/4 inches - 75th percentile

But then came the the dreaded vaccines. I'd heard all Mommy's cry when their babies get stuck. Having endured 100's of hours of tears and unhappy baby screams due to reflux and colic, I doubted that I would be shaken by Liam getting his shots. Well, I was no exception. Big fat tears rolled down both our cheek as our poor little monkey got stuck with 3 needles.

The poor baby is sleeping on my chest as I type one-handed. It might be an extra fussy day for us or he might get a fever, Wish us luck and an easy recovery for our liitle man.

update - Poor baby has been sleeping all afternoon. I've mostly been holding and nursing him which seems to help. No fever or any other ill effects so far. Fingers crossed we get out of this without to many more tears.

ready to go to the Doctors
