Each day I learn something new.

Todays lesson: sometimes babies do nap for three hours at life is good!!!

Liam teaches me something new every day. I shake my head in amazement at how different my life has become over 11 short weeks. Each day holds a lesson. Some days, I find myself relearning yesterdays! And there are certainly times when a week flies by before I realize what I've learned or even had time to catch my breath! For instance, I never realized that I knew so many songs or that singing in the shower to entertain an infant in a bouncy seat would become a way of life.

There are no more lazy days. There is no "boredom" or much relaxation. There is no sleep! But those elements of my old life that I sometimes miss have been traded for something far more amazing. This tiny little man has captivated my attention wholly and I am so in love.

You can ask me if I feel this glowing in a few hours but for now, my child is a darling and I'm a happy mommy.
